Position: Annual Funds Manager
Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage, oversee, and execute all logistics for fundraising events, including but not limited to Heroes for the Home and Hearts for the Home golf scramble.
  • Manage, oversee, and execute all logistics for cultivation and stewardship events, including but not limited to the annual Board & Associate Board reception and Holiday Donor Reception.
  • Plan and develop targeted digital and direct mail fundraising appeals including but not limited to spring appeal and holiday appeal. This includes collaboration with the Database Manager.
  • Manage and track goals for fundraising events and direct mail/digital appeals and adjust where necessary on an ongoing basis.
  • Build and foster a comprehensive stewardship program in collaboration with the Director of Development.
  • Manage the Team Member Giving Committee developing relationships to achieve the committee's goal ultimately supporting the Home's comprehensive $50M campaign.
  • Assist the Vice President of Development and Director of Development with the management and support of the Annual Gifts, Business Gifts, & Planned Gifts committees supporting the Home's comprehensive $50M campaign.
  • Collaborate with the Communication Department on Social Media campaigns including but not limited to Give for Good and Giving Tuesday.
  • Collaborate with the Database Manager on the input of donor gifts in Raiser's Edge, serving as a backup to entering donation batches throughout the year.
  • Maintain timely reports and tracking for appeals, cultivation, stewardship, and event activities.
  • Serve as an ambassador of the mission of Home for the Innocents
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Must possess excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Must be detailed-oriented and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Must have the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the programs.
  • Must possess the ability to problem-solve to solution and make decisions quickly within the scope of the position.
  • Must support the purpose, vision, and core values of Home of the Innocents. Supports and facilitates positive interaction with others by exhibiting individual maturity, respect for others, a team-center approach, maintenance of confidential information, and an appreciation of a multi-cultural workplace.
Education and Experience:
  • Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Must have a minimum of 1-3 years fundraising experience.
  • Must have the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the fundraising and planned giving programs.
