This is an incredible opportunity to join a small but mighty team that cares for San Francisco's PIER 39 Marina. As our Marina Maintenance Worker, you will join a dedicated team that is responsible for all aspects of our beautiful marina; that includes (but is not limited to) general repairs, maintenance and upkeep of the dock, facilities, and vessels. Our marina tenants are both commercial and private vessels, a small population of live-a-boards and the ever-popular PIER 39 sea lions.
We want you to bring solid maintenance and repairs skills with you to help with the upkeep of our amazing waterfront property. Expect to use the full extent of your talents to perform an ever-changing variety of tasks. You will have the opportunity to showcase your abilities to support the overall functions that ensure a clean, safe, and attractive property for our tenants and visitors. We have a small, talented, and close-knit team, and are looking for the right candidate to join the crew!
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong command of the English language
• Must be CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to train)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides repair, maintenance, refurbishment and construction of dock fingers and walkways.
• Performs routine repairs, maintenance, and replacement of dock side mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Provides emergency response for immediate dock repairs or maintenance.

Qualifications
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to operate and tow with the marina patrol/work boats.
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Experience with power tool operations, construction, plumbing and carpentry.
• Must have valid California driver's license and proof of insurability.
• Must be able to swim.

Rate: $28.50 - $30.00 / hour (depends on experience)
