Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Occupational Therapist to work at a facility in Fresno, CA. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $65 / hour

This role requires a valid Occupational Therapist license in California, and a minimum of three (3) months pediatric experience. Applications will close 8/1/24.
Schedule Details:
Full-time
Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Start date: Monday, August 26th 2024
Job Duties includes, but are not limited to:
Provide occupational therapy services for children who have disabling conditions, generally due to a neurological or musculoskeletal disorder. These are physical problems that affect the child's ability to control the movements of the body.
Conduct licensed OT and/or PT duties in accordance with State and County regulations and guidelines;
Evaluate, plan, schedule and provide treatment to assigned and scheduled clients;
Complete required documentations accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with State and County regulations and guidelines;
Communicate appropriate information to physicians, other team members, parents, clients' teachers and other parties as needed to implement required client treatment services;
Attend and participate in medical therapy conferences;
Fabricate, modify and apply splints as prescribed;
Coordinate, teach, supervise and develop functional exercises to provide corrective therapy;
May conduct home visits to assess the needs for the prescribed durable medical equipment (DME) and assess the environment for completing functional tasks and/or environmental barriers;
Assess and order DME and orthotics as prescribed;
Provide instructional training to clients, family members and caregivers regarding home exercise programs and equipment needs.
Abide by all rules and regulations under direction of Rehabilitative Therapy Manager
Minimum requirements:
Current, valid license as an Occupational Therapist with the State of California
One (1) year of experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist
Three (3) months of pediatric experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Current annual HIPAA training certificate
Current annual medical clearance (i.e. updated required vaccinations, annual Tuberculosis skin test, etc.), as required per OSHA training regulations.
All current licenses, credentials, board regulations, and/or certifications as required as part of this job classification.
