Elevator Pitch:
ULTA Beauty is the largest North American beauty retailer and the premier beauty destination for cosmetics, fragrance, skin care products, hair care products, and salon services. They sell more than 25,000 products from approximately 500 well-established and emerging beauty brands including ULTA's own private label. They also offer a full-service salon in every store with hair, skin, brow, and makeup services.
Location: Chicago, IL (must be willing to come into the office 6 times per month - 3 of which will be in the Bolingbrook office)
Salary: 115K-140K
Position summary:
You will support and report to the Senior Manager of Digital User Experience within the eCommerce/Digital team. This critical role will play a key part in defining and shaping digital solutions by delivering user-centered designs in support of web, mobile web, and mobile application experiences. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team, including the creative design team, business stakeholders, development teams, consumer research, and others. You may also review work, coach, and mentor other more junior UX Designers.
Requirements:
- 7+ years in any related UX Design discipline
- Experience working with e-commerce businesses
- Experience with native mobile apps
- Experience creating wireframes and prototypes in Axure or similar tool
- Experience working with key cross-functional partners (product owners, creative designers, developers, stakeholders, etc.)
Nice to haves:
- Bachelor's Degree in Design, Technology, Psychology, Human Factors, or HCI
