Position Overview
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will build platform capabilities to enhance conversion metrics such as Add to Cart, Trials, Search, and Downloads. Applying Kappa architecture and event stream processing, you will create scalable data solutions. We are looking for advanced technical expertise and 5+ years of experience in an enterprise environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Develop and maintain data pipelines using Kappa architecture and event stream processing technologies
  2. Implement data solutions that improve conversion rates and user experience across digital platforms
  3. Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and other team members to define data requirements and ensure data quality and integrity
  4. Build real-time data processing and analytics solutions using technologies like Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, Apache Spark, and similar tools
  5. Use big data frameworks such as Hadoop, HDFS, and Hive for large-scale data processing
  6. Improve data architecture and processes to support high availability, scalability, and performance
  7. Help with the mentoring and development of junior data engineers
  8. Ensure adherence to enterprise-level best practices, including security, performance, and scalability
  9. Participate in the strategic execution of data projects aligned with our goals
  10. Collaborate with teams on data projects
  11. Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in data engineering and event stream processing

  9. Experience deploying code in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $110,300 and $190,300. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
