(RHA) is currently hiring for the following position:Engineer IIFull-time, exemptRHA's Engineer II will be responsible for implementing the SoCalGas Comprehensive Multifamily Incentive (CoMFI) Program while ensuring program goals and deliverables are met. This position will require a deep understanding of energy efficiency, utility energy efficiency programs, measure recommendation, energy and cost savings and financial analysis of recommended measures. You will also play a vital role in promoting energy conservation and sustainability in the natural gas industry and contribute to a more sustainable future by helping customers optimize their energy usage. This position is hybrid but will work in our Santa Fe Springs office.Essential Functions:Engineering Analysis: Perform engineering analysis of complex energy efficiency measures based on first principles, empirical data, or prior research.Training Development: Develop and deliver training to RHA staff or in support of training and technical assistance contracts.Tool Development: Design and develop calculation tools, online tools, and mobile apps according to program specifications.Energy Analysis: Conduct energy analysis of building energy efficiency measures using standard or predefined energy analysis tools and methodologies.Solution Implementation: Analyze, design, develop, implement, and support solutions for multiple programs.Data Management: Retrieve, compile, review, and ensure the accuracy of data from data systems and other constructed databases, researching and correcting discrepancies as needed.Documentation Preparation: Prepare project-related documentation, including project manuals, business cases, and technical information, throughout different project stages.Cost-Effectiveness Evaluation: Determine the cost-effectiveness of identified energy efficiency measures and assess eligibility for financial incentives based on regulatory requirements.Technology Identification: Identify energy efficiency technologies and conduct energy savings studies/financial analyses to support the development of prescriptive measures.Industry Presentations: Participate in industry-related presentations.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent3 to 5 years of experience in energy efficiency or energy related fieldStrong computer application skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent command of the English language with strong written and verbal communication skillsSalary: $65k - $80kWho is RHA?For 40 years, Richard Heath & Associates, Inc.
