Entrepreneurial and growth company located in Bourne, MA looking for an experienced Supply Chain/Procurement professional to implement and execute on supply chain and procurement processes of the company.
Responsibilities
• Purchase goods or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the organization
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors
• Track inventory and restock goods when needed
• Stay up to date on industry trends and new products
• Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing
• Monitor inventory
• Coordinate shipping logistics
• Ensure accurate documentation
• Prepare reports on supply chain performance
• Communicate with stakeholders
Skills and Job Requirements
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the company
• Minimum 5 years Procurement experience in a manufacturing environment preferably electronics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• High level of entrepreneurship and ability to create new ways of working
• Strong Excel skills and ability to procurement and inventory models
• Experience with ERP systems and implementation experience a plus
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant business experience
