Inventory Control Coordinator I Responsibilities

The Inventory Control Coordinator I’s responsibilities are to maintain accuracy and control, with minimal supervision, of material receipts, raw material and finished goods inventory locations.

We are hiring for the swing shift. The work hours are Monday through Friday from 2:00 - 10:30pm PT.

What You’ll Work On

  1. Maintain accurate logs and files for IQC receipts, lot control, and daily issues to Production and various departments.
  2. Pull releases from post sterile area to be placed in finished goods inventory and enter releases into the computer system.
  3. Update and maintain cycle counting on a routine basis with other staff members.
  4. Process daily shipment reports for supervisor.
  5. Participate in job rotation to be cross-trained in secondary job responsibilities.
  6. Responsible for cross-training of all staff members.
  7. Issue materials to production floor and maintain material traceability.
  8. Back-flush sub-assemblies and FG products.
  9. Build pallets for product sterilization.
  10. Maintain appropriate segregation of product awaiting sterilization.
  11. Coordinate shipments to the sterilizer with the freight carrier.
  12. Schedule sterilization cycles with sterilizer as needed.
  13. Coordinate return of products from sterilization facility with sterilizer and freight carrier.
  14. Perform Receiving as needed for processing receipts.
  15. May occasionally gown-up to check the supermarket Kanban locations inside the Controlled Environment Room (CER) as needed.
  16. Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures.
  17. Understand relevant security, privacy and compliance principles and adhere to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company.
  18. Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures.
  19. Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

What You Contribute

  1. High School/GED with 3+ years previous shipping/receiving, stores and inventory control experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Computer experience.
  3. Knowledge of GMP helpful.
  4. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Working Conditions

Shipping/Receiving and Stores Warehouse and cleanroom environment as needed. Potential exposure to blood borne pathogens and other potentially infectious materials. Requires some lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms, and to use a computer, sitting for extended periods. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to read, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
