E.A. Buck is a fast-growing financial services company with dual headquarters in Denver and Honolulu. We’re seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Denver. The Staff Accountant will review/manage the day-to-day outsourced accounting activities for the firm including A/R, A/P, Bank, Credit Card, and other account reconciliations and perform journal entries as needed. In addition, assist in performing financial planning and analysis on a monthly basis. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized and motivated. Primary systems in place include Microsoft Office, Salesforce, QuickBooks Desktop, Bill.com & ADP.
Candidate will be based in Denver, CO.
This position is a full-time, in-office position based out of our Denver office.
NOTE: Only people who are currently living in Colorado will be considered for this role.
Salary / Benefits Package:
Base Salary range of $52,500 to $62,500 per year, based on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Download monthly cash receipts and reconcile to general ledger.
- Reconcile deposits to statements.
- Generate invoices as needed.
- Download weekly bank disbursements.
- Input invoices into QB weekly.
- Code EFT disbursements activity in QB.
- Print checks on Fridays and deliver to Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
- Maintain the check log.
- Download weekly credit card transactions from Chase.
- Obtain management approval/signature when required.
- Download credit card transactions via QB sync, directly into QuickBooks. Code as appropriate.
- Reconcile the credit card ledger to statement monthly.
- Draft miscellaneous journal entries as needed.
- Reconcile the bank ledger to bank statement monthly.
- Pay state taxes on recurring basis (monthly).
- Assist with annual 1099 reporting.
- Assist with approving ACH Positive Pay.
- Assist with maintenance of accounting filing/records.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-3 years of public accounting experience preferred
