Position: Energy Management: Building Systems and Controls Project Manager

Provides project management support for the Lumen Energy Management Team, including technical support of critical mechanical and electrical systems, building automation and controls systems, energy tracking applications, and energy efficiency initiatives.

Work Location

This is an onsite position in our CO market. The office location is 931 14TH Street or 5375 Zuni Street in Denver. Travel percentage is 25-50%.

Main Responsibilities

  • Direct oversight of centralized energy management and building controls platforms, ensuring facility systems are operating with a high degree of reliability and efficiency development, programming, deployment of building control systems, and management of data analytics and reporting.
  • Remote troubleshooting of facility system issues associated with building controls, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Development of energy reduction initiatives to improve PUE of technical facilities.
  • Manage SkySpark and Niagara building automation systems.
  • Work with utility consultants and utility providers on energy rebates and utility incentive opportunities.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • BA Degree and/or 5+ years of industry experience in building control systems. Strong technical understanding of energy efficiency, mechanical and electrical systems, building automation systems, data analytics, and reporting.
  • Experience in telecom, high reliability facilities, and/or datacenter environments preferred.
  • Highly professional and self-motivated along with exceptional organizational and analytical skills with the ability to develop and manage concurrent projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI, Word, Excel, and Visio.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Project Management Professional or Data Center Efficiency Practitioner Certification.

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges
$88980 - $118630 in these states: CO.

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
