Primary Purpose of the Position:
This position is assigned to Actuarial Services Division of the North Carolina Department of Insurance. This position provides technical support to the Chief Actuary and the Company Services Group and assists with the actuarial reviews and examination of P&C insurers and Risk Retention Groups. This position assists with devising and conducting special studies on important issues affecting P& C insurance and performs special technical projects as assigned by the Chief Actuary. This position also assist with the actuarial reviews and examinations of P&C insurers and risk retention groups.

Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics or closely related field from an appropriately accredited institution.
Prefer that candidates have passed one actuarial exam. Candidates are expected to pursue membership in the Casualty Actuarial Society
