Together, we accomplish great thingsIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:Assists in the development and ongoing maintenance of a standard costing system to ensure accurate inventory valuations and cost accumulation and estimate product costs to support quoting activitiesResponsible for thorough inventory reconciliationsContributes to month end closing and preparation of monthly financial and operational reporting as well as budgeting and forecasting other cost of sales elements.Analyze variances and communicate explanations to management with recommended actions on a frequent basis to ensure plant is delivering to expected forecastProvides proactive consultation to department leaders to drive business decisions related to inventory, costing and scrap.The essential requirements of the job include:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance related fields with 0+ years experienceUnderstanding of financial accountingUnderstanding of ERP systemsTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:Ability to travel – domestic travel to other manufacturing locations (<5% of time)Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving recordExert up to 20lbs. of force occasionally and/or up 10 lbs. of force frequentlySitting: to assume a position in which the weight is largely supported by the buttocks, usually with the body vertical and the thighs horizontal.Using Fingers/Grasping/Feeling: writing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm as in handling.
