Travel Nurse RN - PCU in Roanoke, VA

**Job Description:**
- Provide care in a 25-bed medical unit, specializing in acutely and chronically ill adults with a range of complex medical diagnoses.
- Work closely with internal medicine physicians and residents.
- Maintain a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio (target 1:4).
- Flexibility to float as needed to other PCU units and potentially Med Surg.
- Complete orientation modules and potentially Epic Fast Track modules prior to starting.
- Work at least one holiday per season, including two winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s).
- Attend orientation, which includes 24 hours of non-billable time.
- All requested time off must be submitted upfront during application.
**Additional Information:**
- Candidates residing within 100 miles are considered local and are not accepted.
- Previous employees must have a gap of at least one year before returning as a traveler.
- Compliance documents are due by Wednesday prior to the Monday start date.
