Contract Mechanical Engineer - Process Piping Design
We are looking for a Contract Mechanical Engineer to join our team of engineers in the process piping design department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of process piping design principles and experience in the design of process piping systems. The position will be based in our office in Houston, Texas.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the design of process piping systems.
  • Work with other engineers and designers to develop and implement design solutions.
  • Prepare and review engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure that the design is in compliance with all applicable codes and standards.
  • Monitor the construction of process piping systems to ensure that the design is being implemented correctly.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in B31.3 Process Piping and Design
  • Experience in Autodesk Applications (preferably Vault and/or Plant 3D)
  • Strong understanding of process piping design principles and standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
