With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
Our team is responsible for delivering software/hardware co-design of various system architectures for future SoCs Google is developing. The team develops software/hardware architecture and proof of concepts to prove specific architectural ideas.

Responsibilities:
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in system software development including kernel, driver, and system services using C/C++.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- 3 years of experience working with SoC hardware level software components.
- Experience in software development with Python or Java.
- Experience in developing Linux kernel software, Linux driver development, and debugging.
- Experience in software/hardware co-design or influencing hardware design from software perspective.
- Experience with system components like CPU, GPU, TPU, memory, or PCIe.
- Working knowledge of android software and hardware architectures.

- Contribute to the software and hardware architecture designs for Google’s future SoCs and software features.
- Build prototype/production software across the android stack including kernel, BSP, framework, and application to prove the feasibility of designs.
- Build prototype/production software for embedded software stacks running inside Google’s SoCs.
- Collaborate across organizations and teams to move the architecture design into production.
