POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Analyst, Tax reports to the Supervisor, Tax and plays a critical role within Cheniere's income tax team handling a variety of responsibilities including contributing to the ASC 740 and IFRS tax provision processes and supporting both US international and local country tax compliance via co-sourced big four accounting firm arrangement. This role requires a proactive and organized individual capable of managing multiple projects while delivering accurate and timely results. Prior international tax experience is a plus but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Preparation of certain U.S. book-tax differences such as foreign derived intangible income (FDII), share-based compensation and transfer pricing supporting quarterly ASC 740 tax provision and annual U.S. federal tax return.
- Preparation of FDII and foreign tax credit models for monthly forecasting and ad hoc modeling requests.
- Preparation of US international tax compliance calculations including FDII, foreign tax credit, country-by-country reporting, etc.
- Liaison with local country big four accounting firms to manage and oversee the preparation of local country tax returns.
- Preparation of IFRS income tax provisions and related disclosures for annual financial statements of international entities.
- Preparation and facilitation of quarterly estimated tax payment estimates and corresponding monthly GL account reconciliation.
- Preparation of quarterly tax accruals and return to provision journal entries for international entities.
- Support timely delivery of workpapers and documentation required for external audits.
- Support process improvement initiatives to streamline and increase efficiencies.
Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of federal and general knowledge of international tax principles.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Experience with Corptax Provision, Oracle, Hyperion, and SharePoint a plus.
- Able to quickly adapt to and understand new ideas, concepts, and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and demands with a high degree of accuracy.
- Emphasis on attention to detail and effective organization skills
- Education, Training and Certifications : Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting required, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred.
- Experience : Minimum of four (4+) years' experience with progressive tax accounting provision and/or tax compliance.

- Job is performed in a typical office environment, but is subject to time pressures and constraints, and is often dependent on input from others.
