Job Title: Clinical Director
Location: Lafayette, CA (hybrid-3 days per week in office)
FLSA Status: Exempt
Compensation: $150,000 + opportunities for a quarterly bonus
Reports to: President of Clinical Services
We are currently seeking a Clinical Director to lead our clinical services across Northern California. As the Clinical Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the highest quality clinical practices within CBEM. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of clinical consultants, including BCBAs, Psychiatrists, and Clinical Psychologists, ensuring best practices and continuous professional development. This position requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a passion for advancing CBEM’s mission. You will be based in our Lafayette office with occasional travel throughout California.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of clinical consultants, ensuring adherence to best practices and program standards.
- Develop and implement training programs for Critical Intervention Service employees, focusing on the latest advancements in mental health and developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with Operations and Quality Assurance to maintain and enhance program designs, clinical documentation, and service lines.
- Provide strategic direction and support to the clinical team, including recruitment, training, and ongoing development.
- Conduct evaluations, analyze data, and implement action plans to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Oversee the implementation of Model Fidelity Instruments and ensure regulatory compliance with the Department of Developmental Disabilities and Title 17.
- Develop and manage budgets for clinical operations, ensuring resources are aligned with organizational goals.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D. or Ph.D.) and valid clinical licensure.
- A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a therapist post-licensure required. Leadership experience preferred.
- Expertise in DSM V diagnoses and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Strong communication, leadership, and clinical assessment skills.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Valid California driver’s license and ability to travel within the state.
