Minivasive Pain and Orthopedics is looking for a full-time Referral Intake Coordinator to join our team. The Referral Intake Coordinator completes and processes incoming referrals and maintains effective communication to inter-departmental teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collects new patient referrals and updates corresponding referral log
• Completes the new patient checklist form
• Schedules and reschedules patients' initial consultations as necessary
• Refers scheduled patient to appropriate physician and office clinic
• Informs and provides a patient with necessary information and instructions prior to the appointment date
• Notifies necessary parties and providers concerning no show and/or non-compliant patients
• Takes telephone messages and provides feedback and answers to patient/physician

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Great customer service skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• One year in customer service

WORK WEEK SCHEDULE:

• Monday-Friday
• 8-hour work day
