Summary
The Cobrand Production Manager the production process and coordinates all activities related to cobrand products across all product categories. They work with sales, product development, operations, and production to ensure on time delivery of quality products in accordance with customer orders. This position has overall P&L responsibility for the cobrand program across all product categories.
Job Responsibilities
Production Management:
- Manage all aspects of the production process for co-brand products.
- Develop systems and processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective processes for all aspects of co-branded production.
- Liaise with other department managers to develop efficient procedures, business objectives, and product offering for the cobrand program.
- Develop scheduling and other systems for production and tracking to organize pending orders for the cobrand program.
- Monitor production of cobranded products to resolve issues.
- Create momentum across all sales channels through working with creative team to develop new co-brand product innovations.
- Approve all sub-contractor invoices related to cobrand production.
Design / Prototyping
- Adjust logos as needed for inbound sample requests in Illustrator.
- Oversee sample process for cobranded products with Mexico QC team.
- Work with sales team on inbound requests to ensure that we are providing the best product possible for our customers.
Process
- Continually evaluate and improve systems and processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective processes for all aspects of cobranded production.
- Update as needed all written procedural documentation for cobrand program.
Costing / P&L
- Estimate costs and prepare budgets for cobrand system.
- Prepare monthly P&L for all cobrand products produced.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years of experience in production management.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and business acumen, including elements of margin, planning, production.
- Demonstrated retail math and business acumen, including elements of markup, selling and inventory productivity measures.
- Ability to use a PC, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office, Illustrator, ERP Systems.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 20%.
Compensation
This role pays $70,000 to $80,000 base pay plus a bonus of $5,000 annually depending on experience.
