Senior UX/UI Designer

We set new standards with our game-changing product and are a driving force within pop-culture. We are looking for an eCommerce Analyst to join us in advancing the industry forward.

SKIMS is looking for a talented and experienced UX/UI designer and researcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, as well as the ability to translate user needs into intuitive and user-friendly interfaces. The successful candidate will also have experience conducting user research and usability testing.

Responsibilities

User Research and Analysis

1. Conduct user research through surveys, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points
2. Analyze and synthesize research findings to identify opportunities for enhancing UX

Information Architecture And Wireframing

1. Develop intuitive information architectures and user flows that guide users through features logically and efficiently
2. Create low-fidelity wireframes and prototypes to visualize and iterate on design concepts
3. Implement and maintain component library, user experience guidelines, digital style guides and visual standards.

Interaction Design

1. Design interactive and engaging user interfaces that prioritize ease of use and aesthetics
2. Define interaction patterns, micro-interactions, and animations that enhance the overall user experience

Visual Design

1. Produce high-quality visual designs (including basic assets and wireframes/mockups)–from concept to execution, including those for desktop, web, and mobile devices at a variety of resolutions.

Collaboration And Communication

1. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that designs meet user needs and business goals
2. Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to current and new functions/features.

Usability Testing And Iteration

1. Collaborate with Product on vetting and onboarding a user testing platform
2. Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability findings, and industry best practices

Key Skills And Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field
2. 7-10 years of experience in UX/UI design and research
3. Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
4. Experience with user research methods, such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing
5. An understanding of e-commerce best practices focused on optimizing conversion and AOV
6. Familiarity with front-end development principles and their impact on design
7. Solid understanding of Agile/Lean UX techniques
8. Experience with prototyping tools, such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
11. Passion for designing great user experiences

$150,000.00 - $170,000.00 a year
