Position Summary:

As a Wholesale Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and building strong relationships within the cannabis industry. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing existing client accounts, and meeting sales targets. Your in-depth knowledge of the cannabis market, products, and regulations, combined with excellent communication and negotiation skills, will enable you to effectively promote our company's offerings and achieve revenue goals. This role requires a self-motivated and results-oriented professional who can thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the cannabis industry, including dispensaries, cultivators, manufacturers, and other relevant entities.
  2. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and develop a comprehensive understanding of their needs and pain points.
  3. Proactively reach out to potential clients through cold calling, networking events, trade shows, and other channels to establish strong business relationships.
  4. Present and promote our company's products and services to potential clients, showcasing their value and benefits.
  5. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, tailored to the specific needs of each client.
  6. Manage and nurture existing client accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term relationships.
  7. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing product information, and offering ongoing support.
  8. Collaborate with clients to understand their evolving needs and provide customized solutions to meet their requirements.
  9. Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and maximize revenue opportunities.
  10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and opportunities using CRM software.
  11. Achieve and exceed sales targets, both in terms of revenue and market share.
  12. Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to drive business growth and increase market penetration.
  13. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and potential risks.
  14. Prepare sales forecasts, track performance metrics, and provide regular reports to management regarding sales achievements, pipeline status, and market insights.
  15. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a unified approach in serving clients and meeting business objectives.
  16. Other duties as may be assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  2. Proven track record of success in sales, account management, or business development roles.
  3. Strong knowledge of the cannabis industry, including market trends, products, regulations, and key players.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  5. Self-motivated and target-driven, with a passion for achieving results and exceeding expectations.
  6. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
  7. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.
  8. Flexibility to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  2. Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs unassisted.
  3. Must pass a comprehensive background check annually to ensure compliance within Cannabis Control Commission and Revolutionary Clinics set regulations.
  4. Employees may be required to bend, squat, kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, complete repetitive hand movements, and/or walk intermittently throughout the day. Employees may also be exposed to company-approved chemicals for sanitation and production purposes. Team members will also be exposed to cannabis and cannabis products while onsite.
