The Doctor Recruiting Partner role involves sourcing, screening, and hiring for positions in General Practice and Urgent Care Veterinarians. As part of the larger recruiting team, after consistently exceeding hiring targets opens the door to engaging in extra special projects aimed at fostering continuous growth and advancement within the organization.

Additional duties will include:

  1. Develop and manage strong consultative relationships with hiring managers and candidates
  2. Participate in recruitment knowledge sharing and best practices
  3. Nurture your network and develop referrals from potential and internal/recent hires
  4. Play a lead role in 1 to 2 conferences Thrive Pet Healthcare attends, and be available to support other events in your area as needed
  5. Be a Thrive ambassador and lead generator at various social events
  6. Present Thrive information at 1-2 campus events per year
  7. Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit through self-motivation and attention to detail
  8. Manage the recruiting process to succeed with hiring goals through effective resource management, including full cycle recruitment, networking, social media searches and efficient use of the ATS and CRM
  9. Maintain current information on the hospitals supported to have the ability to focus on quality hires, with the goal of hiring the right person in the right opportunity
  10. Manage, support, promote 25 to 35 full-cycle recruiting roles on a regular basis, opening and managing requisitions, their posting and the candidate workflow
  11. Track and report on recruiting activities/metrics
  12. Utilize CRM/ATS to review select candidates and move through the recruitment process, update records to ensure accurate candidate tracking and maintain financial reporting

Core Experience and Skills:

  1. 3+ years experience full lifecycle recruiting
  2. Bachelor's degree preferred; Recruiting or HR certification is a plus
  3. Previous recruiting experience in the Veterinarian industry is strongly preferred
  4. Experience with Client Relationship Management system (CRM)
  5. Experience with ATS (ideally Jobvite or other HRIS integrated system)
  6. Possess a savvy and perceptive ability to interact with people and be capable of fostering relationships with individuals at all levels
  7. Skilled with social media platforms related to talent acquisition - LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  9. Ability to self-manage and motivate
  10. Think outside the box to source for competitive roles
  11. Excellent time management skills; available to work 8 am - 5 pm, with additional flexibility
  12. Remote position and must have the ability to work efficiently from a home office. All required hardware will be provided along with a monthly cell phone stipend
  13. Travel to conference events 3-4 a year; additional travel may be required
  14. Must live close to a major airport
