THE POSITION
Are you eager to make a career change? The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) has an exciting opportunity for a professional Supply Analyst 2. This position gives you the opportunity to direct, develop, implement, or function as part of a supply chain management operation for the PLCB involved in providing warehousing and distribution operations to support a robust retail store network. Additionally, you will serve as the Board's primary point of contact for the Contract Operator of the distribution center (DC). Do not delay, apply today!
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Supply Analyst 2, you will monitor vendor and contractor performance in the receipt, storage, and shipment of alcoholic beverages into the DC and out to the retail stores. You will be building positive professional relationships with members of Contractor's management team, to allow free flow of information necessary to optimize service to stores.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring contractor compliance in the receipt, storage, and shipment of alcoholic beverages into and out of the Western Region Distribution Center. This includes packaging, palletizing, loading of product, labeling, and other contract covered issues and requirements. Work involves resolving problems with contractor's operations manager or designated point of contact.
You will have the opportunity to direct, develop, implement, or function as part of a supply chain management operation for the PLCB involved in providing warehousing and distribution operations to support a robust retail store network. You will function as the Manager at Distribution Center #4, Pittsburgh, PA.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • One year as a Product and Supply Analyst or Product Associate 2; or
  • Two years of analytical experience in supply chain, logistics, finance, or business operations in the consumer packaged goods industry, and a bachelor's degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
