Director of ECommerce

Our growing company MIGEAR INTERNATIONAL is searching for a Director of E-Comm Specialist who can grow our sales volume.

As Director of e-Commerce, you will create and implement strategies that make online transactions possible. You will organize, develop, and execute website marketing plans.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Write and edit product content that will be published on e-Commerce websites/portals.
2. Set standards, systems, and best practices for new product listings, content creation, distribution, and maintenance.
3. Work closely with different teams (product development, design, sales) to provide updated content that will be shared across e-Commerce platforms.
4. Provide support in other areas of Media Marketing, Email Marketing, Keyword Research, Google Analytics, and Paid Social Media.
5. Be a subject matter expert to assigned product categories.
6. Identify best practices regarding inventory, pre-orders, and pricing policies.
7. Monitor changes in product sales by using web analytics and Excel spreadsheets (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.) to stay organized.
8. Manage all aspects of e-comm business until a full team is built.
9. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.

Requirements

1. Minimum of 3+ years experience in a fast-paced, e-Commerce business.
2. Hands-on experience in managing and maintaining e-Commerce websites/portals.
3. Knowledgeable of the e-Commerce space that includes marketing strategies, product development, competitive strategies, consumer research, industry trends, and usability best practices.
4. Familiarity with web design and a keen eye for detail.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
6. Analytical and multitasking skills.
7. Working Knowledge of MS Office; Excel guru a plus.
8. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
9. Self-starter with the ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
10. Degree in Marketing or relevant field.
11. Able to work in the office - NO REMOTE WORKING.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year / plus incentives package
