Position Summary:

Join us at Working Wardrobes, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals facing employment barriers. We're seeking a Director of Fund Development who thrives on details and connects our mission with fundraising success. In this role, you'll leverage your meticulous planning, leadership skills, and knack for communication to drive revenue goals and strengthen relationships both internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll spearhead the implementation of our annual fund development plan, overseeing organization-wide fundraising and marketing efforts. Leading volunteer groups and collaborating with our Development and Gala Committees, you'll play a pivotal role in achieving our revenue targets. Your attention to detail will ensure seamless event coordination, from planning to post-event follow-up, while continuously evaluating data to optimize our strategies. Your success will be measured by your ability to secure mission support, aiming for a fundraising goal of $2 million.

Technical proficiency, integrity, and a commitment to nonprofit best practices will underpin your success.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of development experience or relevant undergraduate degree.
  • 3+ years of fundraising experience, including event coordination.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Donor Perfect, Raiser's Edge, Salesforce).
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and with attention to detail.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
  • Reliable transportation for off-site event planning.
