OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in Virginia 24-hour Call Coverage
Dates: Start ASAP - need a locum provider who would cover OB visits in office and the 24-hour pager call too.
Details/Requirements:
ASAP start (as soon as credentialed 60 days)
Six month assignment with the opportunity for extension
Call hours are 24 hours 7am-7am; Preferablylocums that are able to do days at a time and cover some weekends
Pager and taking call for the hospital/ED
Board Certification required
Virginia license required
DEA required
Office: Monday Friday, 8am 5pm
Number of OR s: 1 in L&D, 4 rooms in OR. Typically, the C-sections are done in L&D
Weekend Average# of callbacks: 2 to 3
Weekend Average # of admissions: 2
Required procedures: Vaginal Delivery • Cesarean Delivery • Circumcision • Hysteroscopy • Surgery for Missed AB • Incomplete Abortion • Hysterectomy • Ovarian Cystectomy • D&C with/without suction
