HR Administrative Assistant
Hybrid in the Loop
Our client, a professional services firm in downtown Chicago with a supportive and collaborative culture, is seeking a driven Human Resources Assistant to support their Chief People Officer and HR team. This role involves administrative support plus participation in recruitment, onboarding, and other HR initiatives. The ideal candidate will excel in communication, organization, and multitasking within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute administrative tasks and manage office operations.
- Process and follow up on department invoices.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing and interview scheduling.
- Oversee new hire onboarding and orientation processes.
- Manage office supplies and maintenance requests.
- Support corporate event planning and team initiatives.
- Act as a representative for Business Continuity Planning and Floor Warden duties.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as an administrative or executive assistant in a professional environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications; familiarity with Workday is a plus.
- Experience in an HR department and/or financial services is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with leadership.
- Excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
