Process Engineer

Production Engineer

• $85-$100K salary. Open to higher in salary if they are well qualified.
• Looking for 5+ years of experience.
• Bonus: 10-15% typically. In 55 years have paid every year.
• May consider relocation never had to given their location. Strongly prefer local. More apt to relo someone who is a renter and cheap to relo.
• Pretty urgent, want to fill by the end of the quarter.
• 1st shift, flexible schedule
• Group that supports production, and one group that supports the plant.
• Will report to the engineering manager, who oversees both engineering teams.

• Design: 10% preferred not a 100% mandate but really really helpful if they have a little Cad experience.
• New projects 10%
• Education 5%
• Focused on improving production.
• Plastics mfg experience required, extrusion preferred.
• Work closely with tech service and maintenance and materials.
• Continuous improvement
• Some design and equipment design. Mostly smaller things like line layouts, tooling, fixtures, designing work cells.
• Want them to be the technical expert on the floor for some of the newer technologies.
• Want to bring in automation, champion automation and fabrication projects.
• Machine upgrades controls and plc's.
• Percentage breakdown
• More mechanical than process. Really want someone mechanically inclined.
• More equipment focused than a process engineer.
• Troubleshoot mechanical items. Process engineers are more people-and process focused.
• Lot of growth for the role. Will weigh the candidates as they view them.
• Small engineering team. In the company will be 6 plus this person.
