SUMMARY
Processes customers inquiries and orders and expedites with delivery of products and/or services. Contacts other company units regarding design delivery or service matters. Develops sales contacts and performs limited sales functions. Under supervision performs work that is varied and may be somewhat difficult in nature but involves limited responsibility for final decision, some evaluation, originality or ingenuity required, knows and applies fundamental concepts and procedures, may check work of support or earlier levels of sales or trading workers. Customers are typically domestic.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide customer service, sales correspondence, site visits, meeting minutes, and resolve issues with US Customs, HTS codes as needed.
  • Provide effective telephone & written communication with customers, suppliers, brokers, and freight forwarders.
  • Calculate purchase orders based on customer requests, forecasts, inventory levels, safety stock, and lead time
  • Analyze your monthly sales & gross profit numbers.
  • Analyze your customer AR Aging & collection of AR.
  • Analyze & monitor your Inventory Aging.
  • Provide explanations to the sales manager for section manager reports.
  • Provide information for compliance related issues.
  • Generate quotations, perform calculations & mark-ups, negotiate pricing, resolve pricing issues with customers & suppliers, and approve sales invoices under 40k.
  • Manage annual budget for accounts.
  • Acquires new clients through sales, promotions, and development.
  • Controls Inventory & scheduling shipments.
  • Originality or ingenuity is required.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred majors in Business Management or Supply Chain Management
  • Preferred 3 - 6 years of experience in a similar position.
  • MRO and/or industrial sales experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Japanese customers is preferred but not required.
  • Technical sales experience or a strong technical aptitude is required.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Must be quality and outcome-driven/oriented; Excellent time management, organizational, and strong communication skills are required; Must be able to effectively multi-task; Capable of defining and closing opportunities.
  • Experience in supply chain management and familiarity with coordinating activities with warehouses and logistics service providers.
  • Provide a high level of customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team setting in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear thinking with a continuous improvement mindset.
