The Hotel Amarano Burbank is looking for an experienced, energetic, outgoing, and customer service oriented part-time Bartender to join the team. In this role, you will be serving beverages and/or food to the guests in a friendly, courteous and timely and manner, resulting in guest satisfaction. Also, to prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests, and act as cashier.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis. This includes requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce based on projections from the daily functions sheet.
Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to insure product quality.
Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promote and documents orders for drinks. Mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control.
Mix, prepare and serve drinks according to approved recipes.
Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
Input orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest, including those served by other beverage servers, to maintain accountability of all beverages served.
Receive cash from guests, make any change needed, verify validity of charges, record charges, and insure vouchers are properly executed, in order to balance all moneys.
Lock up and stores all beverage, food and other equipment items, deposit cash drops and secures bank.
Assess members/guest alcohol consumption; stop serving
Report complaints and refuse to serve incidents to a manager as soon as they occur.
Maintain and cleans bar equipment.
Maintain records of liquors, beers, wine, tobacco and sundries to ensure par stock is maintained at all times.
Maintain daily inventory and records showing which drinks and liquors are in the greatest demand. Assure the efficient and timely submission of all required reports.
Serves food when business requires.
Work in all Food and Beverage outlets as needed as business requires.
Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Must be least 21 years of age.
A minimum of one year of experience as a Bartender.
TIPS (or equivalent) and Food handlers certifications are highly desired.
Ability to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must possess excellent customer service skills and an ability to work in a busy fast-paced environment.
