Why this job – FP&A ANALYST:

A Denver-based 501(c)3 non-profit is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join its financial team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to all budgeting and forecasting for the organization’s departments and programs. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate closely with senior leadership and program teams to ensure the organization’s financial sustainability and alignment with its mission.

What You'll Actually Do:

• Lead the development of the annual budget and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and program objectives
• Monitor and report on the financial aspects of grants, ensuring accurate fund allocation, compliance with grant requirements, and efficient use of resources
• Provide in-depth analysis of financial performance, including variance analysis, trend identification, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the organization’s activities and programs
• Prepare and post journal entries, including reclassifications, monthly recurring entries, and other necessary adjustments
• Support the year-end closing process and assist with the audits

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

• 3+ years of FP&A experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Non-profit experience is highly desirable
• Experience with contracts related to public funding and/or grants is a plus
• Deadline driven
• Team player and strong communication skills - ability to work with multiple department heads and people outside of finance

Where and How Much:

• Target Compensation $100K DOE
• Hybrid – 3 Days in Denver office (near Park Hill)
