Job Requirements / Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain existing accounts through personal visits and follow-up on a systematic basis, with at least four days of field time per week.
- Achieve annual sales plan through growth and penetration of existing accounts.
- Present new ideas and products from primary vendors and exclusive brand products to secure account penetration and loyalty.
- Communicate with customers to apprise them of mutual performance, new products, programs, and market trends.
- Lead sales team to ensure optimum service to accounts, maximize account executive's time spent with customers, and meet or exceed accounts receivable targets.
- Attend sales meetings, training sessions, food shows, and conferences as necessary.
- Set up and support rollout of new accounts as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing preferred.
- Minimum of three years of sales or distribution experience required, with foodservice industry or restaurant operations experience preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication, customer service, presentation, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel required.
Salary and Benefits:
The expected compensation for this role is between $69,900 - $95,000, with eligibility for an annual incentive plan bonus. Benefits include health insurance, retirement benefits, paid time off, and life insurance. For a full list of available benefits, please visit the company website.
