You are a highly analytical, creative, and dynamic individual with an intellectual curiosity. You are a strategic thinker with extensive experience in compensation management, with strong analytical and project management skills. You will play a critical role in developing, communicating, and executing compensation initiatives across the organization from the ground up. To support this role, you have exceptionally strong excel and communication skills, with a mind for competitive, scalable, and equitable compensation programs. You will have at least 5 years of relevant compensation experience in very fast-paced and dynamic environments.

Based in Miami, FL, you will report directly to our Associate Director, Compensation & Reporting located in the United States. Over time, you will have the opportunity to showcase your communication skills and work regularly with our senior management.

Job Description

The Sr. Compensation Analyst will be predominantly responsible for managing the base, variable and equity compensation programs to attract and retain top talent on a global basis, as well as a variety of regular reporting projects and analyses. The Sr. Analyst will lead transformative compensation projects and connect with key stakeholders in the process.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of existing compensation programs and recommend enhancements to align with business objectives and market trends.
  • Assist in managing the annual compensation review and bonus payment processes.
  • Build and maintain various Compensation information models and systems for use by various departments, with a high focus on data accuracy and presentation.
  • Partner with HR, finance, and business leaders to support compensation planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
  • Drive and manage cross-functional, transformative compensation projects from inception to completion, including project planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Act as a change agent within the organization, advocating for best practices and innovative approaches to compensation management.
  • Participate in market surveys to ensure access to the latest market trends and compensation data.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on providing market insights and recommendations for workforce development and strategy.
  • Analyze compensation data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Oversee the integrity of compensation data, ensuring accuracy in reporting and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
  • Lead UAT activities for compensation-related system implementations and upgrades, including defining test scenarios, developing test scripts, and executing test plans.
  • Collaborate with IT and system vendors to resolve issues identified during testing and ensure successful deployment.
  • Create ad-hoc reports and various analyses as needed.
  • Have a customer service attitude towards assisting stakeholders on Compensation matters – we love our customers!

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • CCP certification a plus.
  • 5 + years’ experience in Compensation analysis, with a strong emphasis on global business projects and insights.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering complex, business-wide compensation initiatives.
  • Ability to deliver insights in a very fast-paced, quick scaling environment.
  • Exceptional data analysis skills, including experience building and maintaining data models.
  • Excellent spreadsheet skills and thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience handling sensitive data and projects.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
