Job Title: Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team, focusing on the setup and editing of programs on two machines simultaneously. The role involves machining safety systems for the aerospace and defense industry and collaborating with two operators to ensure smooth operations.
PAY
$28 - $35/hr
Responsibilities
Set up and edit programs on two machines at a time.
Machine safety systems for the aerospace and defense industry.
Assist and collaborate with two operators as needed.
Essential Skills
Operation and setup of machines.
Proficiency with precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
Experience with lathe and mill machining.
Knowledge of Fanuc control systems.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Familiarity with G-Code and GD&T.
Experience with CNC Lathe and CNC Mill.
Capability to perform short runs and inspections.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with 2 Axis machines.
Proficiency in editing programs.
Knowledge of Mastercam and Okuma systems.
Experience in the aerospace industry.
