Credit Analyst / BakerHill Administrator

Springfield, IL

The BakerHill Administrator and Credit Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient management of the commercial LOS platform, BakerHill, as well as compiling and spreading commercial credits under $1.5MM. They are responsible for working with the lenders and loan assistants to maintain and develop the BakerHill platform, specifically the credit memos and underwriting functions. They will also be responsible for working with the lender in promptly preparing credit memos for review and approval. The BakerHill Administrator and Credit Analyst will report directly to the SVP - Credit Manager

BakerHill Administrator and Credit Analyst Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare loan write-ups utilizing credit analysis for credits under $1.5MM
  • Monitor and manage users accounts within BakerHill
  • Develop and maintain the credit memos within BakerHill by using Windward (Autotag)
  • Ensure compliance with company credit policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations, and make recommendations for improvements as necessary.

Credit Administrator Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience with BakerHill, Webi, Microsoft Windward (Autotag)
  • Experience with Excel, financial statements, credit reports, and financial spreading is preferred.
  • Excellent written ability to report and summarize data.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining credit records and documentation.

Computer Requirements

  • Strong general computer skills and proficiency using Microsoft Office applications

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable talking on the phone

Attendance Requirements: Employees are expected to report to work as scheduled, on time and prepared to start work. Employees are expected to remain at work for their entire work schedule. Late arrival, early departure or other absences from scheduled hours should be avoided. This position is typically full-time, Monday through Friday, from 9:30am to 6pm; and also includes a Saturday rotation from 8am to noon.

Working Conditions: This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
