Job Summary : The Sales Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities pertaining to the sale of equipment.
The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.
Essential Functions:
  • Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with
    our Vision, Values, and Mission
  • Acts as the primary contact for internal customers, Sales Representatives and equipment vendors for new equipment and accessories
  • Processes new equipment sales orders submitted by the outside sales team
  • Coordinates equipment for outgoing shipment to customers
  • Issues purchase orders for new equipment and ancillary materials for customer projects and H.I.S. stock
  • Schedules delivery of equipment orders and pick-up of material from sub-supplier sites
  • Updates the scheduling and tracking tools for machine sales orders, custom packages, new machine inventory and preventative maintenance agreements as
    needed
  • Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
  • Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of the construction equipment sales industry
  • Knowledge of business accounting principles
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Intermediate computer and related software applications skills
  • Intermediate MS Office Excel and PowerPoint skills; Advanced MS Word skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to interact with tact and courtesy and maintain a professional manner
  • The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
  • The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Up to two years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required
Supervisory Responsibilities :
  • None
Travel
  • Up to 5% of travel maybe expected
Physical Requirements:
  • This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; additionally, occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc.

  • Occasionally moves materials or equipment weighing up to 10 lbs.
  • Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina

Work Environment:
  • Regularly works indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
  • Occasionally works outdoors and may be exposed to weather extremes conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity
  • Frequently works at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
