Job Summary

The Project Manager for Business Enterprise Projects manages and delivers complex, high-impact business initiatives from planning through execution within an enterprise environment. This role is integral to ensuring that business goals align with the organization’s strategic objectives. The Project Manager III acts as the primary liaison between business units, cross-functional teams, external partners, and other stakeholders. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure that all project deliverables are met on time, within scope, and on budget.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Enterprise Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans specifically tailored for business enterprise projects, defining project scope, objectives, tasks, timelines, and resource requirements. Align project goals with organizational strategy.
  2. Strategic Project Execution: Lead cross-functional project teams in the execution of enterprise-level tasks, ensuring that all activities are aligned with the strategic business objectives and deliver maximum value to the organization.
  3. Resource Optimization: Effectively allocate and manage resources, including team members, technology, and financial resources, to ensure optimal utilization. Adjust resource plans as necessary to meet the dynamic needs of enterprise projects.
  4. Enterprise Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks specific to business enterprise projects. Develop and implement robust risk management strategies to minimize potential disruptions to business operations.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, executive sponsors, clients, and external vendors. Facilitate communication to ensure alignment and address concerns.
  6. Enterprise Budget Management: Monitor and manage project budgets with a focus on business impact. Track expenses, report on financial performance, and ensure that projects stay within the financial parameters set by the organization.
  7. Quality Management: Ensure that all project deliverables meet or exceed the organization’s quality standards. Implement best practices and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance project outcomes.
  8. Change Management in Enterprise Context: Lead and manage change within business enterprise projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations while maximizing project benefits. Coordinate with change management teams to implement change strategies effectively.
  9. Strategic Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present detailed project status reports to senior management and key stakeholders. Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making at the enterprise level.
  10. Leadership in Enterprise Projects: Provide strategic leadership to project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Mentor and guide team members, ensuring the development of skills and capabilities required for business enterprise projects.

Leadership And Functional Responsibilities

  1. Initiates and manages projects as required
  2. Work with management and other departments to establish scope, resources, and work estimation
  3. Liaise between Business Leaders and Business Enterprise projects as required
  4. Participates in PMP mentorship and certification requirements
  5. Reports project progress weekly to the Senior Project Manager
  6. Trains and mentors junior PMs on managing projects
  7. Synchronizes weekly with Business Leaders for new projects
  8. Leads daily meetings and conferences

Education And Skill Requirements

  1. A minimum of 3 - 5 years of demonstrated experience in project management
  2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  3. Must be proficient in SharePoint and Microsoft Suite
  4. Gantt chart experience
  5. Work Breakdown Structures
  6. Cross-functional team communication
  7. Ability to influence stakeholders through effective communication
  8. Self-Motivated and proactive with demonstrated critical thinking capabilities
  9. Familiar with multiple Project Management Software tools

Recommended Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree
  2. Project Management Certification (PMP)
  3. Other Project Management Institute (PMI) Certifications

Supervisory Responsibility

  1. Accountable for the performance of assigned project team members on their respective projects
  2. Assists with mentorship, growth and job satisfaction of junior PMs; assists in the development and training of junior PMs in BRCC policies, processes and institutional PMP knowledge.

Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work/Physical Requirements

This is a full-time position and may require long hours and may require weekend and nights work per events.


  1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard, reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment.
  2. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
  3. Light to moderate lifting is required.
  4. Ability to uphold the stress of traveling.
  5. Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate.
  6. Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
  7. Ability to work in a confined area.
  8. Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
