You will make an impact by :

  • Juggling multiple projects and partners at the same time. Depending on the day, you might be developing a full-funnel brand campaign with a team of writers and designers, developing brand activations, working solo and owning a project, or partnering with marketing leaders to develop a new business initiative.
  • Becoming a steward of the brand, ensuring that we communicate with a consistent voice and tying everyday problems to Walmart's solutions for saving money and living better.
  • Developing a lasting, meaningful partnership with our Brand team responsible for brand experiences at the intersection of retail, business and culture.
  • Overseeing a range of projects and channels, from selling an idea to our partners, developing activation plans, creating brand foundations and writing for our website, app and social media channels.
  • Contribute to the development of the Walmart brand by keeping up with industry trends, best practices, and the competitive landscape, as well as collaborating with creative leadership, business owners, and other cross-functional stakeholders to translate business objectives into actionable ideas.
  • Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, communicating goals and objectives, building accountability, measuring progress, demonstrating adaptability, and promoting continuous learning and improvement.
  • "Owning the room" as a representative of the creative leadership team by asking the right questions, challenging the status quo, and presenting and defending our work to stakeholders at every stage.
  • Become a valuable creative thought partner and leader alongside the Creative Directors, partnering with them at every stage to eliminate barriers and build better, more thoughtful and cohesive work.

Qualifications:
  • Online portfolio is required.
  • 8+ years of experience in creative, communications and/or marketing execution.
  • 5+ years of supervisory excellence.
  • 5+ years managing copy in an online creative or digital field.
  • Strong organizational skills, a strong sense of ownership and accountability, and the ability to lead projects, communicate effectively, and be a self-starter.
  • Proactive, comfortable with ambiguity, and flexible in the face of shifting business needs due to the rapidly changing nature of marketing, retail, and ecommerce.
  • High emotional intelligence, excellent relationship-building skills, able to manage expectations well across a wide variety of partners and expertise areas.

San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401:The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

















Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
