Job title: Family Connections Consultant
Consultants for the Family Connections program will provide guidance, coaching and support to vulnerable families and children in their homes and communities throughout Maricopa county. The multifaceted treatment model aims to assist parents with providing for their children’s basic needs, prevent maltreatment, eliminate danger, and ultimately assist families with sustainable self sufficiency.
In this role you will:
  • Complete training in the Family Connections Practice Model
  • Adhere to all aspects of the Family Connections Practice Model
  • Complete all deliverables and paperwork timely
  • Meet families and children in their homes and in designated places in the community
  • Work collaboratively with DCS, community partners and within the agency
What it takes:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social work or related human service field, psychology, marriage and family, human services, etc.
  • 1 year of human services work related experience
  • Bilingual is a plus!
  • Experience working with diverse families
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of DCS
  • Valid AZ Driver license and reliable transportation
  • 3 year motor vehicle record required
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card OR must qualify for a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
