A NYC boutique law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate with commercial foreclosure experience with a New York or New Jersey law firm. The role is for the Real Estate Litigation Practice Group with a focus on secured creditor enforcement.
Responsibilities include:
• Independently handling all aspects of Secured Financing enforcement proceedings
• Drafting and arguing dispositive motions and injunction papers
• Diligence related to the purchase and sale of notes and mortgages
• Preparing pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and appeals
• Handling State and Federal Court appearances and mediations
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience, thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent legal research and writing skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization abilities, along with effective communication skills for client interactions, are essential.
