Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com) is currently looking for a Senior Systems Analyst to join our team in Denver, CO.
JOB SUMMARY
This position will primarily focus on maintaining and refining the product backlog, managing small projects, and handling enhancements and bug fixes. This role will be responsible for gathering business and technical requirements, documenting, verifying, and refining both new and existing requirements. Additionally, this position may be called upon to support user acceptance testing when necessary. This role will report directly to the application analysis manager and will receive day-to-day guidance from a product administrator or project manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess experience, training, or certifications in Workday HCM, Financials, Workforce Management, Time and Attendance, Report Writing, and/or BIRT.
- Capable of working on multiple projects or systems simultaneously.
- Experienced in workflow analysis, integrations/APIs, and overall ERP system design.
- Proficient in writing user stories using the 3W format (who, what, and why).
- Familiar with Microsoft Azure DevOps (TFS/VSTS) or other lifecycle management tools such as JIRA.
- Skilled in gathering, refining, and validating complex business requirements, including interdependencies, risks, and issues.
- Experienced in writing user stories and requirements.
- Proficient in data mapping activities.
- Capable of creating and maintaining flow diagrams using Microsoft Visio and/or LucidCharts.
- Experienced in managing process analysis and improvement activities that impact multiple teams or departments.
- Adept at identifying, recommending, and delivering improvements to enterprise-wide systems.
- Strong team collaboration skills, with a proven ability to deliver results in partnership with peers, customers, and vendors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write user stories with the 3W (the who, the what, and the why) format as well as document Acceptance Criteria using the Azure DevOps tool (formerly TFS).
- Partner with multiple agencies to understand known and needed business processes, system requirements, and integration requirements.
- Create and maintain functional process analysis documentation such as data mapping, process flows, and technical requirements documents which identify and recommend resolution of any process/system/integration-related gaps with the pre-existing templates provided by the project team.
- Perform technical process evaluation, analysis, along with recommending fixes.
- Partner with the QA team to support User Acceptance Testing when needed.
- May provide go-live support and immediate post-production support activities as needed.
- Attend and participate in SCRUM ceremonies with the core Workday team or Project team (SA, BA, developers, QA analysts, Prod support analyst, product administrator, and/or project manager).
- Follow TS best practices, including documentation, project, and change management processes.
PAY RANGE: $60 - $70/hr W-2
