Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Promote a positive interaction and experience with outside dining guests. - Working with Food Service Staff to prepare food following standard company recipes and menus. - Adhere to food portioning standards established by company. - Ensure availability of supplies and foods and maintain order lists. - Allow adequate time for food preparation. - Adhere to proper food preparation and handling techniques. - Store food properly and safely by marking with dates and item name. - Report any necessary equipment repair or maintenance needed to manager. - Plan food production to coordinate with busy meal serving hours. - Maintain food preserving the quality, temperature, and appealing appearance. - Keep kitchen, food storage areas and coolers neat and clean at all times. - Clean and maintain equipment and utensils used in food preparation - Complete food temperature checks before service. - Check and maintain correct temperatures of coolers and freezers. - Comply with sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards. - Perform other tasks as assigned by manager. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) - Skilled in providing outstanding customer service. - Able to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively. - Prior training or experience in food service industry preferred. - Experience with deep fryer, grill, meat slicer, smoker, stove & oven. - Serv-Safe and Food Allergens certifications preferred. - High energy and stamina required. - Able to identify and perform other tasks during non-busy times. Physical Demands This is a physically demanding position. - May be working outside at outdoor grill. - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, - Must be able to stand, bend, climb, lift, kneel, reach & push repetitively. - Must be tolerant of using strong and pungent cleaning products. - Must be able to tolerate temperature fluctuations in kitchen area. Requirements - Shift Requirements: Hours may be late afternoon and evenings, including weekends & holidays. - Age Requirements: Applicants must be at least age 18.
