Job Title: Manual Mill MachinistJob DescriptionSchedule: Day Shift Mon - Friday 6am - 2:30pmWill be running a manual vertical milling machine in a machine shop environment. This is a production environment with a small crew of about 25 people. This is a great opportunity for someone who has production or machine operation experience that wants to gain experience running manual mills. Will be running simple jobs and following an established process.Hard SkillsPrecision Measurement Tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators)Ability to read/write English and interpret work ordersStand for entire shiftLift at least 50 poundsPrevious experience operating a machine is idealSoft SkillsFollow all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guardingMaintain equipment in a clean and orderly conditionPerform basic PM's and shop cleaning related to your areaFollow instructions on established processes and proceduresPerform basic shop math and calculate measurements correctlyWork EnvironmentThis is a machine shop environment.
