QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in water treatment, mechanical, and/or similar industry.
- 5+ years of business development experience.
- Able/willing to obtain CWT and ASSE 12080 certifications within the first year of employment.
- Strong business acumen.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
- Intermediate Salesforce CRM software skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be located in or near San Jose - San Francisco
The Industrial Account Manager/Business Development is responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals while maintaining current customer business. This Account Manager must be results driven, and actively seek out and engage customer prospects. Establish and maintain trusting relationships with customers and deliver optimum customer experience with new and existing customers. This position will lead a team of Service Technicians in providing the required services developed for each site by the Account Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Increase sales annually by 15%.
- Manage customer base of $500,000 to $1,000,000 in annual sales.
- Pursue continuous sales efforts of Meras products and services to meet a sales quota.
- Participate in sales pipeline meetings and review goals and progress towards individual and division-wide quota.
- Utilize Salesforce to track all sales activity for prospective, new, and existing customers.
- Utilize Salesforce to track service visits and reporting on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Conduct marketing analysis and identify prospective customers.
- Establishes and maintains good relationships and frequent communication with customers.
- Assure customer satisfaction with our products and service offerings.
- Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations, written and oral.
- Support Industrial Team with technical questions, account-specific questions, and any other questions/issues that arise.
- Develop goals and objectives to grow the business and elevate the Meras brand.
- Maintain relationships with partners/vendors/suppliers.
- On-site monthly testing and analysis of industrial water systems at customer sites.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret external and internal data and write reports.
- Represent the company in events, conferences etc.
- Ensure adherence to legal rules and guidelines within Meras and at customer sites.
