FINANCE DIRECTOR - Salary Exempt

Provides leadership, management, and guidance of the Cost Department. The Cost Department is responsible for the accurate, timely and GAAP-compliant accounting of the NMLLC Tiffin and NME Nuremberg (particularly inventory), costing (both actual and estimated) of all products and product lines, accounting for warranty and goodwill, invoicing and many other similar duties. The Cost department is also responsible for a significant portion of the month-end and year-end close as well as providing support to the General Accounting department and all other areas of the business.

Responsible for providing management with a large portion of needed financial tools, analysis and financial guidance/counsel at NMLLC. To do this successfully, this position is knowledgeable and active in all areas of the business and must acquire a solid understanding of the manufacturing processes, equipment facilities, and personnel.

This position provides hands-on leadership and completion of many tasks such as a portion of the month-end close, and has co-responsibility for the overall coordination, development and presentation of Financial Plans and Forecasts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with a minimum of eight years of job cost accounting and financial reporting experience in a manufacturing environment.
2. Very strong Cost Accounting knowledge.
3. Strong MS Office suite abilities, with emphasis on MS Excel and PowerPoint. Very strong analytical abilities.
4. Solid knowledge of general accounting principles.
5. Strong managerial, organizational and leadership skills, must be able to train and develop staff.
6. Self-directed and highly driven with a strong business sense and professional presence.
7. Ability to manage a team that achieves goals and provides effective support to projects and business units.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. MBA degree is highly preferred.
