Position Overview
Starr Insurance, a worldwide provider of insurance, investment and travel assistance services, is seeking a Compliance Analyst - Data Loss Protection position to provide support to the Associate General Counsel and Global Compliance Director and Manager, Data Loss Protection in the administration of a Data Loss Protection program in conjunction with the Information Security team.
Essential Job Functions

  • Administration of governance model for Data Loss Prevention ("DLP") program
  • Producing reports and providing information on Key Performance Indicators
  • Maintain DLP business rules and policy
  • Support DLP incident management from compliance perspective
  • Review and clearance of flagged items
  • Qualification of incidents as either confirmed or false
  • Assist in education of relevant staff
  • Attention to detail in executing and reviewing work product to establish the highest quality deliverables in the allotted timeframe
  • Complete special compliance projects and assignments as needed.
  • Maintain files in compliance with state regulations.
Job Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • 1-2 years compliance experience preferred
  • Proven effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to independently research and solve issues
  • Demonstrated integrity in a professional environment
  • Knowledge of core privacy and information security concepts related to governance, risk and compliance
  • Excellent ability to work in a team environment
  • Good social, communication and technical writing skills
  • Ability to work in and adapt to a changing environment
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Systems Auditor or Certified Information Privacy Professional designation preferred
  • Experience and skills in other areas of compliance will be considered.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
