Overall Responsibility
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Part-Time Traveling Sales Representative to join our team.
This role involves visiting local offices and healthcare facilities to represent and promote
Ventura Orthopedics. The primary responsibility of this position is to build relationships, drop
off materials, and promote our services. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and outgoing
individual who is eager to learn about our practice and share our mission with various referral
sources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Learn about Ventura Orthopedics, our services, and our mission.
• Maintain a list of local offices and healthcare facilities to visit.
• Promote our orthopedic practice to potential referring partners.
• Gather feedback and insights from visits to improve our services.
• Conduct prospecting activities to identify potential clients within assigned
territories.
• Travel to various locations to meet with clients, present product demonstrations, and deliver
sales pitches.
• Build and maintain relationships with referral sources through regular communication and
follow-ups.
• Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services to meet those
needs.
• Provide feedback to internal teams to resolve customer issues and provide exceptional
service.
• Keep abreast of competitor activities and market developments to
identify new referral opportunities.

Qualifications

Skills and Attributes
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic about representing Ventura Orthopedics.
• Reliable transportation for traveling to different locations.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Availability to work approximately 10-15 hours per week.
• CA drivers' license with reliable transportation
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. One year of experience recommended.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before patients, outside vendors
or other employees within the organization. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
Mathematical Skills
Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing figures. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and
percentages.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations
where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished
in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Work Environment
Work is performed in an office area. Work may be stressful at times. Interaction with others is
constant and interruptive. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers,
phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job,
the employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of radiation. The noise
level in the work environment is usually moderate.
