Job Summary:
As a Dealership Title Clerk / Wholesale Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vehicle titles and related paperwork for sales and wholesale transactions. You will play a critical role in maintaining compliance with state regulations and facilitating seamless vehicle sales and transfers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process and prepare vehicle titles, Driveaway documents , and related documents for sales and wholesale transactions.Follow up on pending titles with bank, Payoffs and lien releases.
- Verify and ensure the accuracy of all title documents and maintain proper records.
- Coordinate with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to resolve title issues and obtain necessary paperwork.
- Assist with the wholesale auction process, including title transfers, payment processing, and documentation.
- Maintain organized files for all vehicle titles and transactions in compliance with state regulations.
- Communicate with sales staff, finance department, and customers regarding title and registration issues.
- Stay updated on state regulations and dealership policies related to vehicle titles and registrations.
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers in resolving title-related inquiries.
- Assist with inventory, management and tracking of dealership vehicles.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a dealership title clerk or similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive sales processes and vehicle title regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with dealership management software is a plus.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
