The Industrial Regional Sales Manager will be located in the Western Region of the United StatesThe Industrial Regional Sales Manager will promote and sell products and services through effective sales techniques and good customer service.Measures of Success:Achieve annual sales budgetProfessional representation of company in the marketplaceMarket specific information provided to VP Western Sales on a routine basisResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Responsible for growing existing sales within the region including new business opportunities.Travels designated sales territory 3-4 days a week to promote business.Contacts customer, prospect base and major accounts within assigned geographic area via telephone or vehicle on a continuous basis to promote product information and assure satisfactory customer service.Writes and processes sales quotes accurately and maintains quote log on a daily basis.Provides product demonstrations, answers customer technical question on-site and through telephonic/computer communication to customer as required. Provides troubleshooting whenever necessary.Reports competitive information to VP Western SalesOffers input to product development process based on knowledge of “voice of the customer” as gained through technical conversations with customers.Operates computer/mobile to view or retrieve essential customer information and inter-company correspondence.Attends weekly sales meeting via conferencing and special meetings as required.Performs other related duties as assigned.This position works primarily in an office environment using computer and technology. Verbal and auditory capability are required.In accordance with our Work from Home Policy, as a remote position, this individual must have a designated workspace free from distractions with reliable internet connection and cellular service. The operating hours for this role will be defined based on customer need in the assigned sales territory to reflect the appropriate time zone.Occasional exposure in production plant where large equipment and noise are prevalent. Safety gear is required in these areas.This position has no direct reports.Required SkillsRequired ExperienceRequired:Bachelor’s degree (mechanical engineering) or applicable work experience5 - 7 years of prior Industrial/Vertical Pump/Commercial Pump sales experienceTechnical knowledge of vertical inline pumps, HydroFlo product basesThis role may include up to 75% travel in designated sales territory to customer/rep sites or conferences
