Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership and Mentorship : Lead by example with a servant leadership approach, nurturing and developing the team. Foster a competitive yet supportive environment focused on business growth and team success.
Team Development: Mentor and develop a sales team of 2-5 individuals, focusing on enhancing their skills, motivation, and overall performance.
Strategic Contribution : Collaborate with the leadership team to design and implement aggressive, yet achievable strategies for incremental, year-over-year growth.
Data-Driven Management : Utilize a disciplined approach to develop and manage KPIs, metrics, and other performance indicators. Ensure accurate sales forecasting and data-driven decision-making.
Customer Engagement : Engage with customers and prospects as a trusted thought leader, building strong relationships, and driving customer satisfaction.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven Growth Record - Demonstrated success in growing sales and achieving business targets
- Sales Leadership Experience – 8-10 years previous experience as a successful sales leader
- Plastics Industry Knowledge - Relevant experience within the manufacturing plastic sector is highly preferred
- Technical Acumen – Ability to understand technical industry concepts and complexities
- Strong Relationship Builder – Exceptional people skills as a leader with high business acumen and negotiating skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to travel 40% - 50% of time (National Territory)
